The House of St. James the Great is a steadfast pillar of student leadership and service at Elizabeth Seton School, embodying the core virtues of Faith, Love, and Selfless Service. Inspired by the missionary zeal of its patron — who journeyed far to spread the Gospel — the house walks with the vulnerable, accompanies the neglected, and brings hope through action. From December 2024 to May 2025, the house carried out four impactful outreach initiatives: Christmas Pails for school support staff (Johnnies & Garries) and three successive missions to St. Rita Orphanage, providing hygiene kits, feeding essentials, and creative learning tools. Each effort is a living chronicle of servant leadership, rooted in compassion and driven by genuine encounter.
"Faith, Love, and Selfless Service — walking with others as St. James walked with the early Church."
