About the House

The House of St. Lorenzo Ruiz honors the first Filipino saint, a layman who exemplified extraordinary courage, faith, and devotion to family. Inspired by Lorenzo Ruiz's martyrdom in Japan, our house embodies the values of steadfast faith in adversity, love for Filipino heritage, and commitment to family and community. Our house members draw inspiration from this humble sacristan who became a missionary and martyr. We strive to live by his example of courage, devotion to family, and unwavering faith even in the face of persecution. As the only Filipino saint in our house system, we take special pride in representing Filipino Catholic identity within our diverse school community.

"If I had a thousand lives, I would offer them all to God."

- St. Lorenzo Ruiz
